Performed industrial hygiene analysis (monitoring for noise, dust, and toxics), updating emergency response plan, radiation safety officer (licensing and testing of nuclear gauges).
Initiated environmental improvements, which resulted in reduction of storm water analysis parameters (elimination of bioassay testing) and a DeMinimis change in the air permit. Completed environmental clean up for facility sale after plant closure. Oversaw hazardous and industrial waste shipments, wastewater pretreatment operations. Facilitated waste minimization programs. Responsible for air quality permit including a Title V Permit, storm water permit, wastewater permit, hazardous waste registration, precious metals recovery, Form R and SARA Tier I & II reporting, and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan.
