Stop annoying pop-up ads with our free Pop-Up Stopper!
|
We all know how Pop-Up advertisements can slow down our surfing and enjoyment of being on the Internet. Now you can download a FREE version of Pop-Up Stopper and control which Pop-Ups you view.
** Note about MAC users: There is no free version for MAC. The only Panicware Pop-up stopper product available for MAC users is called Pop-up Zapper and costs $20. **
Go to http://www.panicware.com/product_psfree.html to download the free version of Pop-Up Stopper.
Download the simple instructions to load the service onto your personal PC. Once you’ve loaded Pop-Up Stopper, you may select your settings by right clicking on the small white hand that runs on the system tray (information bar on the bottom of your screen) near your clock. You can elect to have a sound play whenever a pop-up ad is blocked. The system is automatically set to flash the system tray, display the pop-up bubble next to the clock, and change the mouse cursor so that you will know a pop-up is being blocked. Whenever a Pop-Up attempts to appear on your screen you will hear the sound you selected and see the blocked symbol in place of your mouse cursor. Some Pop-ups are not ads, rather a site link to which you wish to be connected. All you need to do to go to that site is hold the CTRL key and click on the link again. Over a short period of time, Pop-Up Stopper may learn your preferred sites and not block them. The free version of Pop-Up Stopper will provide you with adequate blocking. We at Ben Lomand Internet Services know that your surfing will be more enjoyable when you make use of Pop-Up Stopper! |
